Set a San Jose State single-season school record for most interceptions (9)...Tied school marks for most interceptions in a game (3) and most consecutive games with an interception (4)...Began the season with seven interceptions in the first four games...Finished second nationally in pass interceptions and 15th in passes defended...National leader in pass interceptions for eight weeks during the regular season and prior to the start of the 2006 bowl season...Team-leading seven pass break-ups and three fumble recoveries...Season-high of 11 tackles came in the Utah State win.
High School: Lettered in football (Coach Ron Meyers) and basketball at Soquel (Calif.) High School ... set a school record scoring 25 touchdowns, 23 of them rushing scores in his senior season... Scored seven touchdowns against Sacred Heart of San Francisco in 2003... Was a two-time first- team all-league defensive back... A first-team running back as a senior.
