Patrick Perry Granted Eligibility to Play
"After missing the last two years, I'm excited to get another year of eligibility and am looking forward to playing with my teammates and having a great season," said the 5-foot-10, 215-pound back who suffered a knee injury in practice less than two weeks before the 2007 season-opening game at Arizona State. "I want to thank all the people who have helped me get back into action - Jennifer Miller (compliance coordinator), the coaches - Coach (Dick) Tomey and Coach (Charles) Nash (running backs coach), the athletic trainers and the strength and conditioning coaches."
Perry looks to be one of the main weapons of the San Jose State attack this season, which opens on Sept. 5 in Los Angeles against USC.
