SJSU Women's Hoops signs another point guard

The San Jose State Women's Basketball program has signed Turlock (Calif) High School point guard Rachel Finnegan, according to the Modesto Bee.

Pam DeCosta has received the signature this of her second recruit this week as Rachel Finnegan of Turlock (Calif) High School on Wednesday reportedly sent in her letter of intent to play for San Jose State, the Modesto Bee reported.

The 5-foot-9 Finnegan said she waited until the late signing period in order to keep her options open. The Spartans got involved after her senior season concluded.

"San Jose contacted me after our season ended and I was already making plans for travel ball this summer," said Finnegan. "Coach DeCosta said they were looking for a point guard, and when my family met the coaches, we seemed like a great fit."
