I have asked for this message and story to be posted on this web site for many reasons.
First of all, this site is read by thousands of Spartan fans each month, and what better place to reach out and ask for help.
Second, getting the word out earlier will yield better results in regards to what I am about to ask of you all on this site.
We need loyal Spartan alumni or others to help a Spartan football player with a summer job, and employ one (or many) this summer!
The football administration is asking for your help in finding jobs for the football players that will be not be going home for the upcoming summer, but will stay and workout in preparation for the 2006 football season.
This places a financial hardship on them as they do not receive scholarship dollars during the off season.
There is a very great need for summer jobs for these players.
If you have the ability to hire one or more or if you know someone who does, please contact me at my football office at 408-924-1235.

The jobs are needed for June and July!
There are approximately 70 players that will need help, so please try to lend a hand.
