San Jose, CA (SpartanThunder.com) - Yonus Davis rushed for 150 yards and two scores on 16 carries to lead the San Jose State Spartans to a 27-10 victory over the New Mexico State Aggies in a Western Athletic Conference battle of the conference cellar dwellars.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Spartans cracked the scoreboard early in the second frame when Davis scampered into the end zone on a six-yard run.

Seconds into the third quarter Davis broke an 84-yard run for a touchdown, extending the Spartans' lead to 17-3.
