The San Jose State University football home games against Colorado State and Utah State will be part of the Western Athletic Conference's (WAC) national broadcast package on the ESPN family of networks.

The Spartans will host Mountain West opponent Colorado State, Saturday, September 15, at 5:00 p.m. (PDT). The game will air on ESPN3, ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a 24/7 destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online via, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold level members. The network is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.

San Jose State's WAC opener against Utah State on Saturday, October 13, will be a 1:00 p.m. (PDT) contest. ESPN Regional Television (ERT) will produce this game for syndication in the Bay Area and for the ESPN GamePlan package.

Today's announcement means three games now are scheduled for broadcast. San Jose State's first trip to Navy on September 29 will be broadcast live by CBS Sports Network.

More news on San Jose State football telecasts connected with the WAC-ESPN package and the Spartans' remaining non-conference games is expected during the summer and into the season.
